Our patrons very much enjoyed your lively  concert on Sunday, October 9 on Russian Music and Dance. Patrons made a point of asking to have your group back again. Your lead singer Natasha has the most incredible voice and did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the music between songs. The musicians and dancers also were very entertaining and talented.  We would very much enjoy having you back again next season! Thank you again for a most enjoyable concert.

Hello Gennady,

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the performance. It was everything I wanted it to be, and more. The music is lively and beautiful. professionally performed. The singing is fantastic--what a vocal range she has! The dancers are beautifully colorful and--best of all--it appeared as if each of you was enjoying yourselves.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am a local restaurant owner and for over a year I had a pleasure of working with Chicago Cossacks. Gennady Sergienko and Arkady Pevchik have performed at my place as a band and solo on several occasions and were absolutely loved by the public. The dynamic performance of Russian , Ukrainian, Jewish and All-American favorite songs takes turns with jokes and interaction with the ones in attendance and public is kept interested for the whole duration of the concert. It is not a rare picture when restaurant patrons would sing along and dance during performances.

I have enjoyed working with the band ,
Best wishes to you from Crepe Bistro staff, keep up the great work , and will be looking forward to work with you again in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Chicago Cossacks to Luther Village for the first time.   Gennady and his group were greeted by a large audience (over 200) of extremely enthusiastic Senior Citizens. The music of the Russian mandolin, bass, and accordion filled the room with tunes both familiar and exotic.  The traditionally dressed dancers added an element of drama that will be long remembered.  Do I recommend the Russian Cossacks?  Absolutely!

Dear Gennady,

I want you to know that I have gotten nothing but positive feedback from your appearance with the Chicago Cossacks Trio last Saturday for Russian Rhapsody, our annual fund raising dinner for the arts at Lewis University.  Everyone enjoyed the selections, the quality of the performance, and the friendly demeanor of each of the performers.  I certainly enjoyed working with you, appreciated your willingness to travel all that way on short notice and your easy adjustment to the changes in times that we had to make that evening.  Wonderfully cooperative.  You made my day.

Thanks again,
Chet

Hi Gennady,

At one of this year’s Sunday programs, a couple recommended that we have The Chicago Cossacks perform at the Addison Public Library. I was happy to say that we already had scheduled them for this year’s holiday open house. The quality of the program was exceptional. Several audience members told me how much they enjoyed the performance. When Natasha sang Coral Bells, the whole audience was mesmerized. Her beautiful voice is absolutely perfect for that song which would be recognizable when sung in any language. To the delight of the audience, Gennady and Arkady accompanied Natasha and played several instrumental pieces. I would certainly invite the Chicago Cossacks to perform again, but I would like to include the dancers.

Gennady,

I just wanted to let you know that our library patrons had nothing but good things to say about your performance.  When I asked a few of the children if they enjoyed it they gave me a little dance and yelled “yes!”

The truly wonderful part of the evening was that the children were enthralled, clapping along and enjoying the music even though they did not understand the language that the songs were sung in.  The parents enjoyed the cultural experience, many of them happy to be able to share something from their own heritage with their children.

The dancers were beautiful and graceful. The music was so uplifting and joyful.   The singing was amazing, and the unique instruments were lovely.  As a program planner it is so nice to be able to provide a unique experience that was so well received.

Thank you so much for sharing your gift of music, dance and old world ambiance with the readers at the Wood Dale Public Library.

Thank you!

Jenny

Dear Gennady,
On behalf of the Vladimir/Canterbury SIster City Association of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois I want to thank you for your April 20th performance at our annual Borscht Bash.  Your music captured the soul of Russia.  Those of us who have visited Russia felt as if we were there again.  The "Chicago Cossacks" trio provided a marvelous evening for us!  We were delighted with their fine musicianship, their exuberant spirit, and the variety in their selections.  We were all energized by their presence.    Ann B. To Whom It May Concern:

We were very pleased with the performance of The Chicago Cossacks at the “Taste Of The World” restaurant weekend in Decatur, Illinois recently. The group sounded great and the audience certainly enjoyed them. Decatur doesn’t have many opportunities to hear Russian-Slavic music, so the sounds of this wonderful trio brought a piece of the other side of the world to the people of Central Illinois. Everything went well. Gennady was very professional. I would use again if the right opportunity came along.

Sincerely,
